PETRA SPRINGS CHRISTIAN CAMP is a ministry of Calvary Chapel Woodland. Our desire is to provide churches with a safe, affordable facility to host camps and retreats for youth and provide opportunities for fellowship, evangelism and discipleship while enjoying the beauty of God’s creation.
Reservation
Petra Springs Christian Camp is now accepting reservations for the upcoming summer camping seasons. Reservations are being accepted on a first come basis.
Facilities
PETRA SPRINGS CHRISTIAN CAMP is on 4-acres leased from the USDA Forest Service, bordered by beautiful Packer Creek. There are 3,800 sq. ft. of building space, including a main dining hall & kitchen, 3 cabins that will accommodate up to 36 campers, 2 tent platforms for additional campers, one male and one female shower room (each with two shower stalls) and a male and female restroom (each with 1 toilet), sand volleyball courts, and fire pit with a small stage for skits and worship.

Location: PETRA SPRINGS CHRISTIAN CAMP is located at an elevation of 6218 ft. at 651 Packer Lake Road Sierra City, California, just off of Highway 49 near Bassett's Station History: PETRA SPRINGS CHRISTIAN CAMP was purchased from the City of Woodland in November of 2010 and will begin operating under the Lordship of Jesus Christ in June 2011. Local Attractions: PETRA SPRINGS CHRISTIAN CAMP is located in the Tahoe National Forest Lake Basin area. This area has more then 40 natural alpine lakes, half of which are within a 20 minute driving distance from Petra Springs.
